Chairperson's Message

“The believer is kind and gracious, for there is no goodness in one who is neither kind nor gracious. The best of the people are those who are most beneficial to others.”

I believe it is purely Allah’s blessing who makes us able to think about the benefit of the society and guide us to term these ideas into reality.

Shaoor mean to make the society aware of their basic rights and equip them to earn a better living. It’s been 15 years serving the society. In these years through of ups and downs Shaoor has grown up as a mature, well equipped and well aware welfare organization. All these glimpses of success come in all colors of support, encouragement, unflinching resolve, inspiration, desire, and heartening life changing stories and motivating tales of human determination. Along this journey we faced enormous challenges; we also met criticism and cynicism. The later just reinforce our determination.

I am pleased that Allah has blessed me with great, honest, and sincere stakeholders, donors, partners and hardworking staff, teachers and volunteers. Every individual is a key stone of our chain. Without them, this long journey of 15 years could not have been successful. Our guideline is word of Quran and Sunnah of our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). As His (P.B.U.H) life and leadership is a glorious chapter of our history, it is always the source of inspiration for Shaoor family. In the one and half decade of consistent work, Shaoor has revamped the vital and neglected sector of our government…. the slum areas. We took initiative to educate every deprived child, to enlighten and save their future. A stronger emphasis on character building, nationalism and giving something positive to community and making them competent, hard working and professional in limited resources….. Though it is the most difficult job but not impossible.

It is the team work of intelligent, passionate and resilient staff members. We fight against ignorance, illiteracy, social exploitations and health problems in these slums Shaoor established 15 schools and free medical dispensaries. In these years more than 10,000 students have been facilitated in Shaoor schools. I conclude with the words of our founder.

“It is our prime duty to help our needy brothers and sisters and this can only happen by spreading light of education.”

I strongly believe education can change the face of Pakistan by developing tolerance, positive attitude and passion for progressive society. I believe use and allocation of sources and resources can bring revolution, gradual but profound. Let’s move forward with best hope for nation and May Allah make us able to help and make a difference in the society. Ameen!
